How to set up email to send email request and reward?

Sending emails to customers from a company's own email address can build trust with customers, increase product review rates, and reduce spam complaints.

What is email request review?

Email request review is a feature that automatically sends emails to customers who have placed an order on your store to request a review. The email will be sent to the email address that the customer provided when making the purchase.

What is email reward?

After a customer has left a review of your product, you can send them a gift in the form of a discount code to encourage them to buy again in the future.

Our app allows you to send an email to the customer that includes a discount code that can be used for future orders.

So, why is it necessary to set up email?

Because emails sent from your email address, whether it is a personal or business email address, can help to increase the credibility of the email, build trust with customers, and reduce the chances of the email being flagged as spam.

The process of setting up email

Step 1: In Product review mini app, go to the Collect review tab and select Email Setup.

Step 2: Config your email name, email address and email app password

  • Email name: Highly recommend your Store name. This will increase the reliability of the sent email.

  • Email address: The email address that is sent to customers is also known as the source email address.

It is highly recommended that this address be your business email address to increase credibility with customers

An email app password is a password that is used to access an email address, which then allows you to send emails from that address.

Step 3: Verify your email address by code

A 4-digit code will be sent to the email address you have chosen.

Copy and paste the code into the input box to verify that you are the owner of that email address.
