Creating a Volume Discount offer is now seamless thanks to the updated step-by-step upsell creation Wizard. Let us go through the steps:
This step allows you to define which products are part of the upsell offer being created. In this step, you can change it to the following options:
Any products (Default): This means that any product on your Store are eligible for this campaign
List products: By selecting this option, you can choose which products are eligible for this Volume Discount upsell offer.
List collections: By selecting this option, you can choose which collections are eligible for this Volume Discount upsell offer.
This next step helps you define the discount you would like this offer to have.
The Discount tiers will then let you define different levels of discounts according to the required quantities. Setting up the Discount Tiers is one of the most vital parts, as you decide the discount you are willing to provide to push your customers to buy more.
The Discount type determines how the discount would be calculated. There are two options:
Percentage - The discount will be calculated according to the percentage of the total volume (ex. 2 pieces for 20% off, 4 pieces for 40% off, etc)
Fixed Price - The discount will be calculated by discounting a fixed amount per product within the offer (ex. 2 pieces for $5 off each, 3 pieces for $7 off each, etc)
In this step, you can control how and where you would like the Volume Discounts upsell offer to be displayed. This is divided into two sections:
Volume Discount on Product page
In this section, you can define the look and feel of the upsell offer when it is displayed on the product page.
You can define different settings such as the layout type (Radio Select or Table), its corresponding colours, even its alignments and margins. Below are the differences between the three layouts.
The Preview pane on the right side will show you how the Volume Discounts would look on your store while you're doing the customizations.
Cart suggestion on Cart page
In this section, you can define how the upsell suggestion would look like in the cart page. When active, this will appear below the eligible product in the cart as a suggestion to add more.
You can define the messaging that you would like this upsell suggestion to show. Friendly and clear suggestions provide the best conversions!
Review your chosen settings and activate/publish the upsell offer
In this final step, you can see an overview of the chosen options, and also set the following features:
Offer Status (Draft or Active) - You can choose Active if you would like this upsell offer to be activated right away once you save your changes. Otherwise, you can choose Draft.
Offer Name - You can also define an internal name for this Product Bundle upsell offer for easier management of offers inside the Boost Upsell mini app.
Time period: You can set a time to automatically stop running a campaign. The start date is always the date the campaign is created. You can enable and adjust the end date of the campaign.
